Abstract
Because angiogenesis appears to be a fundamental mechanism associated with direct myocardial revascularization (DMR) procedures, it seems natural to combine the overall field of DMR with angiogenesis therapy. Such myocardial treatment strategy can thus be termed "mechanical approach for myocardial angiogenesis."
