Abstract

In the November issue, Medical Network Strategy Report looked at the broader policy and strategic issues surrounding the flight from Medicare risk contracting on the part of major health plans this fall. In this issue, we look at one of the difficult results of the current situation: the harsh impact on Medicare enrollees themselves, as seen in one California county with a high Medicare risk penetration rate.
