Rural health care for sparsely populated regions: an emergency medicine delivery model.

Abstract

Emergency medical care has long been a matter of serious concern and difficulty, both for patients living in rural areas and the physicians and medical personnel who have served these areas. This paper provides an update of the drastic improvements in rural health care made possible by today's technology.
