Major Multi-National Pharmaceutical Companies and Complementary Medicine.

Abstract

The aim of this survey was to evaluate the attitudes of major multinational pharmaceutical companies towards complementary medicine (CM). A questionnaire and one reminder were mailed to the managing directors of 30 companies in Britain, France and Germany. Twenty-nine (out of ninety) responses were received. The results indicate that overwhelmingly these companies claim to have a neutral attitude towards CM.
