Abstract

In the UK, most universities and higher education establishments are linked to the Internet and are then hooked, in turn, to the Joint Academic Network, JANer and Super- JANet. Both British industry and schools are using information technology to access satellite and CDs in an effort to improve and enhance information, communication, learning and training.
