Abstract
After the heart arrest during 1-4 hrs in immersion hypothermia (water temperature 9 degrees C), heart beats were restored. The mechanical power of the heart, however; was reduced to 64-73% of the initial level in 1-3 hrs and to 39% in 4 hrs after the cardiac arrest.
