Ischemia shifts the antioxidative balance towards LPO and formation of vitamin E metabolites of different destruction degree. It is shown that under such conditions the reactions of initial tocopherol reduction are possible in the case of preliminary introduction of physiological doses of vitamin E into the organism. Abstract
