Abstract

Acetylcholinesterase (blood, hippocampus, frontal cortex, basal ganglia, septum and diaphragm) or butyrylcholinesterase (liver) activities following i.m. administration of tacrine (9-amino-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroacridine), its 7-methoxy- and 7-hydroxy derivatives to rats in dose of 1.2 x LD50 were detected.
