[Comparative measurements of the brain and internal body temperature in cerebral circulatory stop in dogs].

Abstract

A report is given about comparison measurements of the intracerebral temperature and the temperature of the interior of body in form of the blood temperature in the arteria pulmonalis in dogs with cerebral circulation stop. The decrease of the brain temperature of 0.03 K per minute takes place long before the decrease of the blood temperature. It coincides clearly with other signs of the deficiency of all brain functions. The decrease of the brain temperature can be considered as one of the early symptoms of the cerebral circulation stop.
