[Simultaneous revascularization of the superficial and deep femoral arteries].

Abstract

Simultaneous bypass revascularization of the two terminal branches of the common femoral arteries can be achieved by the angioplastic method reported here, which does not require any prosthetic or venous material. The method has been used successfully in 10 cases of chronic arteriopathy of the lower limbs. Its indications according to the lesions are discussed and comparisons are made with other possible techniques.
