Mainstreaming the adolescent mother.

Abstract

The Lee Parenting Program (LPP) at Richard C. Lee High School, New Haven, Connecticut, was created to facilitate a smooth transition back into school and to give the young mother the needed support system. A comprehensive report of the LPP—its implementation, the curriculum, counseling services, integration of health services, and the case report of one participant—is presented. A section on educating staff is also included.
