Abstract

Analysis of the lipids of seven species of Micromonospora showed the constant presence of five phospholipids and three glycolipids. The phospholipids were identified as cardiolipids, phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidyl-inositol, mannosides of phosphatidyl-inositol, and possibly lysocardiolipids.
