Abstract

AbstractDiagnosis is a necessary prelude to the successful treatment of temporomandibular joint problems. Removable or fixed splints or bite plates have been successful aids in relieving acute discomfort as well as aiding diagnostic evaluation. In this article, the author presents the bicuspid buildup, a new fixed method of initiating diagnostic manipulations as well as early treatment.
