Physiological experiments suggest that the neural substrate of anxiety thus defined includes the septo-hippocampal system (SHS) and its monoaminergic inputs from the brain stem, especially the dorsal ascending noradrenergic bundle (DANB).</p></span></li><li><span>4.</span><span><p>4.     1.
