Abstract
The efficiency of capturing vapors of cesium, molybdenum, and tellurium oxides, as well as molecular iodine, from mixtures with different component ratios using ceramic honeycomb contact elements was investigated. The total dynamic sorption capacity of the contact elements and the composition of the chemisorption products were determined. The developed contact elements are recommended for practical application in gas purification systems for irradiated nuclear fuel reprocessing.
