Abstract—Phase equilibria in sections of the CO(NH2)2–C2H5OH–H2O system at temperatures below zero degrees Celsius were studied. It was found that the addition of ethanol to the urea–water system leads to the formation of low‑temperature eutectics with crystallization temperatures down to –26°C, which substantially extends the temperature range of urea’s application as an anti‑icing material. The discovered compositions are promising for the development of new anti‑icing materials based on them.
