Abstract
The temperature dependence of the heat capacity of an amorphous pyridine-functionalized copolymer of 4-vinylbenzyl chloride and divinylbenzene was studied by precision adiabatic vacuum calorimetry in the range of 6–350 K. The thermophysical characteristics of the copolymer were studied by differential scanning calorimetry in the range of 290–570 K. The standard thermodynamic functions were calculated from the obtained experimental data in the range from T → 0 to 350 K: \(C^{\circ}_{\text{p}} \)(T), \(H^\circ {\text{(}}T{\text{)}} - H^\circ {\text{(0)}}\), \(S^\circ (T) - S^\circ {\text{(0)}}\), \(G^\circ {\text{(}}T{\text{)}} - H^\circ {\text{(0)}}\). A comparative analysis of the thermodynamic properties of the pyridine-functionalized and those of the previously studied initial copolymer is given.
