Abstract
The equilibrium curves in the ethanol–water, isopropanol–water, and propylene glycol–water systems are shown to exhibit anomalous behavior, apparently associated with the formation of hydrates of the corresponding alcohols. The deicing performance of liquid compositions based on urea and ethanol, isopropanol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and glycerol was analyzed.
