Abstract
The possibility of concentrating gold in refractory gold-bearing arsenic ores from the Sukhoe deposit by decomposition with ammonium bifluoride and ammonium sulfate was investigated. Treatment of sulfide minerals with a mixture of ammonium bifluoride and ammonium sulfate increased the gold concentration by more than 700-fold, creating the prerequisites for its subsequent recovery. An approach to the quantitative determination of gold and arsenic by 252Cf-INAA was developed.
