Abstract

Purpose: To explore the relationship among clinical nurses' time management competence, work stress, nursing information competence, and reflective practice.

Background: With the increasing care demands from patients, nurses' time management competence is directly related to nursing quality, patient outcomes and occupational health.

Methods: To explore the relationship between nurses' time management competence, work stress, nursing information competence, and reflective practice through a cross-sectional survey.

Results: Time management among Chinese nurses in this study demonstrated a mean of 54.24 and SD ±14.36. Work stress level, nursing information competency, and reflective practice competence were found to be positively correlated with time management of Chinese nurses.

Conclusions: Optimizing workload, strengthening nursing informatics training, and improving reflective practice mechanisms can enhance nurses' time management competence and promote the advancement of nursing quality.
