Abstract

The most lasting outcomes of nursing are often the ones least measurable. Long after a patient's hospitalization ends, nurses leave lasting imprints through the human connections they create, shaping how the patient and family experience healing, dignity, trust, and, at times, even the future direction of another person's life.
