Abstract
Based on general physical principles, mathematical criteria are formulated, under which it is possible to implement the condition for adhesion of the flow of a viscous liquid to the surface of the body taking into account its roughness. The criterion of net flow slippage along the surface is given. The calculations are carried out using the Navier–Stokes equation. Taking into account the roughness, a correction to the Stokes formula describing the drag of the ball is obtained.
