Abstract
Phase equilibria in sections of the MgCl2–MgCl2⋅4CO(NH2)2–H2O system at temperatures from 0 to –46°C were studied. The earlier assumption that the formation of the low-temperature eutectic in the MgCl2–CO(NH2)2–H2O system is caused by the compound MgCl2⋅4CO(NH2)2 was confirmed. Several low-temperature eutectic mixtures promising for the development of deicing reagents were identified.
