Abstract

This article describes the features that should be looked at on a 12-lead electrocardiogram to determine whether it is normal. It describes the abnormalities found in certain conditions, including atrial enlargement, ventricular hypertrophy, acute chest pain, ST elevation myocardial infarction and syncope, with many illustrations.
