The three compounds are characterized by elemental analysis, IR and <sup>1</sup>H NMR spectra. Detailed structures of the compounds are determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. Abstract
Three new aroylhydrazones are prepared by reaction of 4-hydroxy-3-nitrobenzaldehyde with 4-bromobenzohydrazide, 3-trifluoromethylbenzohydrazide and 2-aminobenzohydrazide, respectively in MeOH.
