Abstract
Experimental studies were conducted on the dynamics of phase interface formation during the boiling of distilled water and hydrofluoroether on a cylindrical surface with a diameter of 1 mm. The experiments ensured a bubble boiling regime, and bubble characteristics were determined using high-speed imaging via PSV (particle shadow velocimetry). Statistically reliable departure diameters and bubble growth rates on the surface were determined as functions of temperature head.
