Abstract

We present the results of estimates for the average transverse energy density \(\langle dE_{\bot}/dy\rangle\) in the central rapidity region for \(\varphi\) mesons (1020) and \({\Omega}\) hyperons \(\left({\Omega}^{-}+\bar{{\Omega}}^{+}\right)\), obtained from our analysis of available data on identified particle spectra in the most central Au \(+\) Au and Pb \(+\) Pb collisions within the energy range \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}=39\) GeV–\(2.76\) TeV. The strange particle density at midrapidity was taken from the published data. The missing information on the mean \(p_{\bot}\), required for the transverse mass calculation, was obtained in this work by integrating the relevant spectra and using two types of approximation functions (Levi and Blast wave). It is found that the dependencies of \(\langle dE_{\bot}/dy\rangle\) on \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}\) for \(\varphi\) mesons and \({\Omega}\) hyperons are well approximated by power-law functions, with similar values of exponents \(n\) that agree within statistical uncertainties. Accordingly, the ratios of \(\langle dE_{\bot}/dy\rangle\) for \(\varphi\) mesons and \({\Omega}\) hyperons exhibit no dependence on \(\sqrt{s_{NN}}\) across a wide range of nucleus–nucleus collision energies. We discuss the possible interpretations of these results within two models: (i) the generalized Multipomeron Exchange Model and (ii) Statistical Hadron Gas Model.
