Variation in hair coat and skin texture in blue dogs.

Abstract

A clinical examination of 6 dogs with blue coat color (genotype dd) has been carried out. The results show that the majority of blue dogs have an abnormally textured hair coat and skin. These changes, however, are not observed in all blue dogs.
