Abstract

Study Objective

To describe optimal surgical technique of unilateral oophorectomy for ovarian tissue cryopreservation in a premenarchal patient.

Design

8-year-old premenarchal patient with acute myelogenous leukemia and planned hematopoietic stem cell transplantation referred to Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology for ovarian tissue cryopreservation. Patient underwent an uncomplicated laparoscopic left oophorectomy.

Setting
