Abstract

New platinum(II) acetylacetonate and lead(II) hexafluoroacetylacetonate heterometallic complexes, [(Pt(acac)2)5(Pb(hfac)2)4] (1) and [Pt(acac)2Pb(hfac)2] (2), are prepared and characterized. Crystal data for 1: a = 13.8795(6) Å, b = 15.0201(6) Å, c = 17.2442(7) Å, α = 105.6503(14)°, β = 110.7887(14)°, γ = 99.0552(14)°, \(P\bar{1}\) space group, Z = 4, dcalc = 2.380 g/cm3; for 2 a = 16.810(6) Å, b = 30.960(12) Å, c = 18.260(7) Å, β = 105.19(2)°, C2/c space group, Z = 16, dcalc = 2.204 g/cm3.
