In phylogenetic analyses, the new species was nested within the <i>Cyrtodactylus irregularis</i> group without any clear sister taxon. Abstract

A new species of the genus Cyrtodactylus is described from Khanh Hoa Province, South-central Vietnam based on genetic divergence and morphological differences.
