Its structure and elemental composition have been determined by X-ray diffraction and X-ray microanalysis. Thin films of the synthesized nanopowders have been produced on the surface of silicon substrates by spin coating. Surface resistivity measurements in air and in the presence of the gases to be detected have demonstrates that the materials thus prepared have a sensor response to NH<sub>3</sub> and CO. Abstract
