Abstract
An extraction technology for purification of manganese sulfate solutions from Ca, Mg, and Na using di(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)phosphinic acid in a diluent (Cyanex 272) as an extractant has been developed. The technology makes it possible to obtain manganese sulfate monohydrate suitable for the production of lithium-ion batteries.
