Abstract
A solvent-free mechanochemical synthesis of CALF-20 is proposed, offering a rapid and cost-effective route by eliminating the solvent used and the purification process. With a record space–time yield of up to 88 000 kg m−3 d−1, the mechano-synthesized CALF-20 exhibits a high CO2 adsorption capacity, highlighting its potential for point-of-use carbon capture.
