A total of 20 studies met the inclusion criteria and were analysed.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The meta-analysis of 15 studies examining the effects of nutrition education on IDWG showed a statistically significant difference between the experimental and control groups (p < 0.0001). Abstract
