Abstract

A novel method to fabricate BP2T-CN nanocrystals using an ionic liquid to control size and prevent aggregation was developed. The resulting nanocrystals exhibited size-dependent photoluminescence and absorption properties, with enhanced photoluminescence quantum yield at smaller sizes due to effective surface passivation.
