Abstract
This research employs a sample of Chinese listed companies spanning 2008 to 2023 to conduct an in-depth analysis of the interrelationship among the establishment of environmental courts (EcoCourt), the development of digital finance, and corporate green innovation performance. Empirical findings reveal that EcoCourt exerts a significant promotional effect on corporate green innovation performance, with this impact being more pronounced in firms operating within highly competitive industries. Concurrently, the advancement of digital finance is also found to significantly enhance corporate green innovation performance. Furthermore, digital finance development is shown to play a significant moderating role in the relationship between environmental court establishment and corporate green innovation performance.
