Abstract
Objective physical criteria of data reliability allowed us to analyze the cross sections of photoneutron partial reactions (γ, 1n) and (γ, 2n) on 52Cr and 90Zr nuclei obtained on bremsstrahlung γ-radiation beams by introducing corrections calculated on the base of statistical theory to the neutron yield cross section σ(γ, xn) = σ(γ, 1n) + 2σ(γ, 2n). The reasons why the experimental data for the 90Zr nucleus fully satisfy the physical criteria, while there are serious doubts in reliability of data for 52Cr nucleus, are discussed.
