Abstract
A recent OCR investigation shows why colleges and universities must distinguish their disability grievance processes from their processes for general misconduct grievances. Failing to make distinctions between these processes can impede students from pursuing grievances against faculty and others — and result in unlawful discrimination against the complainant in violation of Section 504.
