Abstract
Birt-Hogg-Dubé (BHD) syndrome is a rare syndrome which is usually inherited but may occur de novo. It usually presents with cutaneous manifestations, pneumothorax, and, most importantly, renal tumors. Spinal anesthesia was used in this case to avoid respiratory complications such as pneumothorax.
