Abstract

The global production and value chain have experienced a significant transformation characterized by complex systems and supply chains that are susceptible to disruptions for unanticipated events. Therefore, Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) has become essential for effectively managing and mitigating the effects of disruptive occurrences through the implementation of proactive measures. By using a bibliometric analysis, this paper aims to investigate the evolution and the performance of the field of SCR from 2004 to 2022 and its correlation with other domains. To the best of our knowledge, no previous bibliometrics review on supply chain resilience has been conducted using multiples databases. In fact, the datasets were collected from two large databases, namely SCOPUS and Web of Science, which were harmonized and merged to obtain 1508 papers analyzed using RStudio package. In addition, this bibliometric analysis explores SCR performance and citation analysis by years, authors, documents, sources, and countries/continents. Moreover, documents co-citations and keywords co-occurrence was examinated. Consequently, this analysis shows a strong interrelation connecting supply chain resilience with the industry 4.0 technologies in the recent years, and provides future research directions.
Web of Science
