Insurance Coverage Without Cost Sharing for Preventive Health Care Restored by the Supreme Court

Abstract

This Perspective discusses the recent decision by the US Supreme Court to maintain the authority of the US Preventive Services Task Force to issue recommendations on preventive health care services, but also how it opens the door for the Department of Health and Human Services secretary to have supervisory authority over the Task Force, threatening its independence.
