Abstract
Visible-Light-Driven Cycloaddition
Achieving time-resolved information encryption in photofunctional materials poses considerable challenges. In article 2403525, Quan Li and co-workers present three α-cyanostilbene derivatives capable of undergoing visible light-induced [2+2] photocycloaddition as they form self-assemblies. This transformation leads to tunable fluorescence and distinct photoresponse kinetics, thereby enabling efficient time-resolved information encryption and hydrogel-based photopatterning.
