Abstract: Primary care NPs often encounter women with urinary tract infections (UTIs), many of which are recurrent. The American Urological Association's guideline on uncomplicated recurrent UTIs in women provides 16 evidence-based guideline statements to assist providers in evaluating and managing this condition. This article explores these guideline statements, offering practical tips to help NPs accurately diagnose and manage these infections.
