Abstract
This study proposes a one-step powder metallurgy approach to fabricate homogeneous and fine-grained Ti-48Al-2Cr-2Nb alloy, achieving exceptional superplasticity with an elongation of 236.7 % at 900 °C and a strain rate of 1 × 10−4 s−1. The superplastic deformation is governed by the grain boundary sliding, the synergistic effect of twinning and dynamic recrystallization.
