Abstract

Based on provincial panel data from China spanning 2011 to 2022, this paper explores the impact of intelligent transformation on the security of industrial and supply chains, as well as its underlying mechanisms. The results indicate that intelligent transformation significantly enhances the security of industrial and supply chains. This positive effect is particularly pronounced in regions with higher levels of economic development and more advanced infrastructure. Furthermore, intelligent transformation further strengthens industrial and supply chain security by improving technological innovation capabilities and promoting industrial structural upgrading.
