Abstract
Residency education and the field of radiology have evolved dramatically over the past two decades, presenting both challenges and exciting opportunities for our trainees. Although programs must prioritize diagnostic skills, they must also encompass noninterpretive skills such as leadership, health care policy, informatics, and quality improvement. Integrating leadership training into the residency curriculum is crucial for developing well-rounded radiologists who can navigate the complexities of modern health care. By integrating structured leadership opportunities, mentorship programs, and formal training resources, we can ensure that our trainees are not only excellent radiologists but also effective leaders who can drive positive change in our field.
