Abstract

THERAPEUTIC CLASSES IN MEDICAL ONCOLOGY. Medical oncology is constantly evolving, utilizing various systemic therapies to treat cancer at different stages. Chemotherapy, antibody-drug conjugates, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and hormone therapy represent the main current strategies. The evolution of treatments, particularly with CAR-T cells, aims to improve patient survival while reducing side effects. Emphasis is placed on precision medicine and improving patients' quality of life, with supportive care integrated into innovative treatments.
