This paper presents a case involving a 69-year-old woman presenting with intermittent right upper abdominal pain, imaging revealed dilation of the left intrahepatic bile duct and the presence of a solid mass. We performed left lateral hepatectomy on the patient, and the postoperative pathological diagnosis was intraductal papillary tumor with associated invasive carcinoma. At the 6-month postoperative follow-up, the patient showed no signs of recurrence and was in good condition.
