Abstract
In this prospective intervention with older stroke patients experiencing dysphagia, a fortified texture-modified diet increased daily energy intake by approximately 200 kcal while preserving meal volume, thereby enhancing functional recovery and activities of daily living. This approach addresses underfeeding concerns and may help optimize dysphagia care.
